visit from an old friend.

Last Thursday my friend Janina paid me a rather spontaneous visit. I haven’t seen her since I visited her in San Dieogo in late February so it was so nice to hang out again and do some catching up. Hanging out with one of my besties from high school made me miss home a little…! The weather on Friday was as bad as it could be, probably the worst ever since I got here, thunderstorms in the morning and rain all day…but we seized the day anyways and did some serious shopping on State Street.

On Saturday it was all warm and sunny again, so I showed her around town. We went to the beach and the pier, the SBCC campus and after that we picked up Tess and drove to my favorite beach, Butterfly Beach in Montecito.

We did a lot of partying too, and I sprained my ankle when I fell down on the slippery floor at a party on Friday haha! But anyways, it was so much fun. Can’t wait to hang out with Janina again…! Good times.
