The sand in california.

Haight Ashbury.

Last Friday, we went to the Haight Ashbury district of San Francisco. It was the center of the flowerpower hippie movement in the Sixties, and you can still see that on every corner of the streets. The district is named after the intersection of two streets, Haight St and Ashbury St, and right next to the Golden Gate Park.

It’s a really creative and inspiring place to go, there are lots of beautifully painted houses, stores with gorgeous vintage clothes on display or “smoke shops” selling hippie clothes, bongs and, to those with a medical marijuana card, lots and lots of weeeeed.
